Gardening Club
In our school we believe that it is important for all children to learn through a wide range of activities, both indoors and outdoors.
Our gardening club teaches children how to grow different herbs, vegetables, plants and flowers in a fun and inclusive way. Gardening provides a lot of benefits for people of all ages, children learn about responsibility, creativity and teamwork. It is also a brilliant way to take time out and unwind from a busy day. We help out with our local Tidy Towns projects and An Taisce's National Spring Clean.
In the past we’ve embarked on indoor growing projects but this year we’ve raised beds and flower boxes! All our students, staff and parents are invited to join in on the fun!
