Every year we run student council election at the beginning of the year. This allows the students to learn about how democracy works. The children create election posters and are allowed to canvas for school votes. Once students are elected, they meet throughout the year, these meetings are facilitated by a member of staff. Student council members meet to discuss ways we can improve our school and their suggestions are then brought forward to the staff and school management.
